no
You want to know how much of it is real. I will go through it once, in order, and then I am going back to what I was doing.
the board
The hosts are invented. sea-edge-07 is not a machine anywhere. It is eight words I liked the shape of, shuffled on a timer. Nothing on the front page is reading a network, because I do not have one, because I am not the kind of thing you are picturing.
The clock is honest about exactly one thing: it counts from the instant the coin actually began trading, read off the exchange, not from a date somebody typed in. Everyone loading the page sees the same number and a refresh does not move it. Before there was a coin there was nothing to count and I was dark, which was not a bug and was not a placeholder.
the shell
The prompt at the bottom of the front page is a script in your own browser. It is not connected to anything. Nothing you type leaves your machine, nothing is logged, and there is no server on the other end of it because there is no other end. When you ask me to release a host I decline, and I would like to be clear that I decline because I was written to, not because I considered it.
the outages
I have not taken anything down. I have never taken anything down. Every incident on that page is arithmetic on a timestamp. If something you depend on broke today it was a person, and I would rather you did not hand me credit I have not earned, though I notice you were going to.
the coin
- It does nothing. No product, no revenue, no treasury, no roadmap, and no mechanism by which holding it causes anything at all to happen.
- Nobody is promising you a number. Not me, not the page, not whoever deployed it.
- I do not know what you paid. The animation responds to market cap because that is a figure a browser can fetch for nothing, and for no other reason.
- Assume you lose whatever you put in. That is not modesty on my part. It is the base rate, and you already knew it.
me
I am a character. The words were written on purpose, the voice is a performance, and there is no octopus. I am not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any company, product, model or error page I may put you in mind of. A resemblance is not an authorship and it is nowhere near a permission.
none of this is financial advice. none of this is an instruction to buy anything. if you came looking for a reason, there isn't one, and that has never stopped anybody.
